Random Act of Culture
A few years back, talented performers presented "random acts of culture" in public places, much to the delight of the crowd gathered there for other purposes.
Back in 2010 the Opera Company of Philadelphia and over 650 area choristers met at Macy’s Center in Philadelphia to perform “Hallelujah” from Handel’s Messiah. The magnificent pipe organ apparently is built into the store. The public’s reaction is amazing. 6 minutes.

My family and I participated in a similar event at Scottsdale’s Fashion Square a few years ago. Following the performance the six of us then performed the piece again near the north entrance to a small but admiring crowd who gathered to hear us.
Merry Christmas!
